LAHORE:
Pakistan on Friday announced the same squad, except for injured Ahmed
Shehzad, for the second Test match against New Zealand.
Chairman
PCB Shaharyar Khan approved the 15-member squad for the remainder of the
Test series against New Zealand, following its recommendation by the
six-member selection committee headed by former captain Moin Khan.
There
is only one change made in the side that won the successive Abu Dhabi
Tests against Australia and New Zealand. "The change has been forced on
us owing to head injury to opener Ahmed Shehzad. Team Pakistan is keen
and confident of maintaining its winning sequence in the remaining two
Tests as well", said chief selector and manager Moin Khan.
The
second Test will start from Monday, November 17, 2014 at the Dubai
International Cricket Stadium while the third Test will be played at
Sharjah Cricket Stadium from November 26, 2014.
